Seven days from today is the Bazaar. I am frazzled to say the least. I don't feel that my work is good enough or creative enough to try and sell. I am so nervous that no one is going to like my things or worse not want to buy anything. This is what I have done so far, these are little pea pots that I have painted. I want to put a handle on them kind of like nut cups. And I made a crown, what do you think? I have done some faux cupcakes also, medium and little ones. I have a black tree and I am making like a little cupcake tree.

How Bazaar

I did it!! I am going to be a vendor at the local bazaar. Its going to be held at the Elks club. I am so stressed, but so excited at the same time. This has been my dream, to sell my crafts and some of my antiques that I have collected over the years. Im in a mad rush to make things. I am counting down from today I have like 9 days until the Bazaar. I hope I can make enough stuff to last for two days, but I am worried that no one is going to like my stuff. Even if I dont sell anything I am still going to be proud of myself for accomplishing something that I have wanted to do for so long. Ahhhh!! so excited :) I plan on posting some pics of my finished products.

It was a good day today, My work got me a card, balloons and a cake (yummy) I'm the ripe age of 27 but I still feel like I'm a child, still not sure of what I want to be when I grow up.

So Far

This is what I have done so far for my Halloween decorating. Silhouettes!! I free handed a crow and a house. Pretty good if I do say myself. It was really easy I had some old construction paper and black crepe paper. I used my free handed stencils and sewed the crepe paper, hot glued it to the backs of the circles. I used some vintage rick rack so I can hang them up. I think I am going to hang then above the fire place.

Welcome Baby

Here is what I am giving to my sister in law for her baby shower. Its filled with diapers, wipes, power,lotion, baby oil, pack of bottles, bibs, onesies, beanies, hangers, and of course my hand made framed collage. I always like to make something had made and special for people. I think it adds a personal touch to the gift.

Friday Finds!!

Here is what I found at my local Salvation Army after work on Friday. The cutest wire baby stroller, paper flowers of the prettiest blue,pink and green. Great for framed collages. I also found this tea cup it has floral foam glues in it with a flower, I took most of the floral foam out, I plan to use this with real flowers in it, and I found this hand painted Italian dish, I think I'm going to put some of my vintage jewelry in it. So not bad for a Friday.

Finally!!

I have finally finished this for my sister in law, her baby shower is on Sunday. Her baby's name is going to be Isabel, so that's an I with her last name on the scroll part, crappy pic sorry :) I was making her a quilt I never finished and looks like I never will finish..ha ha. I can't seem to figure out how to bind it without it looking like a mess, oh well I will get it done someday.

Fall at Last!

I cant believe its going to be fall already! I love the weather at tis time, sunny with the cool wind blowing, letting the blue sky shine. Ahh what bliss. I also love that Halloween is just around the bend, and all my favorite stores are starting to fill there shelves with decorations and holiday fabric.

Geez Louise!!

I am so overwhelmed by all my thoughts and ideas. I don't know if other people have this problem. I see things that I want to do (craft projects) and I buy some of the material that I need, then it just sits there in my craft room. I have collected so much of everything I'm overwhelmed. I start one project and never finish. I need to be more organized and finish what I start. Like I started to get things together for my Halloween decorating. I just don't seem to have the energy or i try to hard to make it look a certain way... oh well at least I try.
