Easter

Here are a few peeks at my Easter decor. Its pretty simple above the fireplace, I got these cute vintage bunny pics. I have a few little treasures in my glass domes, baskets filled with Easter grass and one with a little bunny in it one with a bird in his nest. And look at this chocolate bunny I found for $.50 it looks like a big bunny marshmallow dipped in chocolate. I love my pink tinsel garland :)

A Quickie!

I just wanted to share this little kit I bought from Big Lots, a monogram canvas for $5 ,it has a complete alphabet in one stencils, and comes with a little brush, detailing tool and 6 acrylic paints. Not sure what I want to do with it, but I'm thinking of a silhouette of something :)

Fun House

I have started a collection of these little display houses and I see so many cute ideas on how to dress them up, I decided to attempt to put one together. This little one I am doing has the theme of "All about Me" things that I love and love to do. This is what I have so far, I plan on finishing it this coming weekend.

Project Done!

I have been wanting to start this project for a while now. Ever since I saw it done by Artsy Mama. So this holiday weekend I was able to start it AND finish it. I think it came out very nice, and cannot wait to do more. Here was the process. I first found this silver frame at my favorite thrift store(Salvation Army) for $2, spray painted it white, put on about 3 coats of real red craft paint, let dry overnight. Then spray painted a clear gloss on, measured and cut chicken wire, sprayed it black and TADA!! Its hanging in my craft room (I used mini clothes pins to hang precious pics of mine!! Enjoy!

Spring Fever!!

I have had the fever all weekend SPRING FEVER!! I actually have the energy to start and finish my projects. Thanks in part to me taking SlimQuick (it works great) I have sooo much energy I have been a cleaning, organizing, and creating machine. I made this spring banner for my easter display above my fireplace. There is this tut on how to make crepe yo-yos and I figured it would look cute, notice how the paper is egg shaped. I think it came out well.

Craft Room

I am doing some major spring cleaning!! I know its not spring but I am so good at procrastinating it will not get done if I dont do it now. Last week I bought some peg board and my handy man (my fiance) Will hopefully get it put up after the room is clean. I want this hutch to be set up like so many I see on these awsome blogs, so with some inspiration and a little imagination it will happen soon. So these are the before pic's, and hopefully soon I will post the after's :)

Happy Hearts Day!

Feeling special is what its all about, but then again He makes me feell special everyday :) I got beautiful flowers from my guy and some goodies from my students at school. I remember the days in elentary school decorating klenex boxes for our valentine cards, even then I was making my own cards for my class mates.

Sick AGAIN!!

I cannot believe that I am sick again!! I think this has been ligering since the end of november when I started the job at the preschool. On friday I had a fever of 102 and have been planted on my couch all this weekend. My weekend has been filled with advil, nyquil, airborn, oranje juice, and about a box of tissues. I hope I get better for work tomorrow.
