Being Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful for my wonderful husband, who works so hard, I am thankful for my job even when at times I feel like I want to give up, I don't because I know many people would kill to be working right now. I am thankful for my family, we are slowly rebuilding our relationships together for the better. I hope everyone takes a minute to really think about what they are thankful for on this day.

Speaking Out

I was invited to speak at the Lighten Up program meetings on Monday Nov.16Th. I showed the program director the picture of me in my "fat pants" and he was floored. He passed the picture around and I heard gasps, and he asked if I would speak and I told him I was honored. I am nervous but very excited to share my story and I hope to inspire someone to want to work that much harder because anything you set your mind to you can accomplish it.

The Mr. and Mrs.

I am Married! Wow what an adventure this weekend was. I am happy to say I enjoyed every moment of my special day. I woke up early to work out, got my hair and makeup done, stayed in the hotel room for a lite lunch and by the time I knew it it was time to get dressed. Andrew was pleasantly surprised when he saw my dress for the first time, its not what he expected but better he said. I felt so beautiful it truly was the perfect day.
